Research In Motion officially alerted the media that it would unveil its BlackBerry 10 operating system at a Jan. 30 event and said that more than 120 U.S. companies will begin beta tests of the platform and its related smartphones with a focus on a touch-screen model unfamiliar to many clients. "We're keenly targeting the launch of our touch-screen device and we want to bring that experience to our clients," said Richard Piasentin, managing director of RIM's U.S. unit.
