Higher doses of aspirin were associated with greater bleeding risks but not better ischemia outcomes in a study that followed 2,851 people after percutaneous coronary intervention for ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. The study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Cardiovascular Interventions examined three years of data from the HORIZONS-AMI trial.
