Tests conducted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to determine a repair program for the steam generators at Southern California Edison's San Onofre nuclear plant in California weren't compromised, MHI said. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission found two issues related to the model generators when it inspected Mitsubishi test facilities in Japan in October. "Based on our internal investigation and corrective action programs, we determined that these items had no adverse effect on the accuracy of any test results," the company said.
