Crews are putting the finishing touches on the $402 million fourth bore of the Caldecott Tunnel in California, and the new two-lane tunnel is expected to open to traffic late this year. Already, concrete is being poured almost daily, although the concrete Art Deco walls at the tunnel's entrance have yet to be formed.
