An Aon Hewitt survey indicates that while 87% of employees and dependents say they are healthy, 53% reported height and weight combinations that put them in the overweight or obese category, based on body mass index. Workers also estimated they spent about half as much on health care as they actually did, according to the survey. Employers should give workers "the necessary tools and resources that give them a realistic picture of their health" and urge healthy decisions, said Joann Hall Swenson of Aon Hewitt.
