An analysis of data from the Nurses' Health Study II involving 93,600 women found that those who ate the most strawberries and blueberries were 32% less likely to suffer a heart attack than those who got fewer servings. Anthocyanins, antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables, may boost high-density lipoprotein, or "good" cholesterol, researchers said. The findings appear in the journal Circulation.
