Boeing said it has finished the first 777 built at a ramped-up production rate of 100 planes per year, or 8.3 planes per month. The aircraft was constructed at the Boeing factory in Everett, Wash. "As we built the first airplane at the new rate, we saw some of the best production metrics ever," said Scott Fancher, airplane development vice president and 777 program chief.
