Brazil shipped out 804 million gallons of ethanol last year, up 55% from 2011 and the most since 2009, according to data issued by the country's ministry of foreign trade. Brazil exported about 122 million gallons of ethanol last month, a record for the month and the second-biggest monthly total in 2012, the agency said. The biggest destinations were the U.S., Jamaica, South Korea and Japan.
