Barnstable Intermediate School in Cape Cod, Mass., brought the world into the school's library Thursday for a competition testing students' knowledge of world cities, license plates, continents and geographical terms. The school's geography bee involved 19 students answering questions ranging from nomadic tribes to South American capitals. The contest, won by sixth-grader Kyle Thomas, will be used to choose who will compete in the state's geography bee, which leads to the national competition.
