Wearing thick cloth diapers resulted in more falls while walking among 13- and 19-month-olds compared with walking naked, according to a study in the journal Developmental Science. Researchers noted that walking with thin disposable diapers only led to more falls among 13-month-olds, not 19-month-olds. However, the steps of all babies wearing diapers were wider and shorter than those who walked naked.
