Researchers studied 190 HIV patients and found that those who received four times the standard dose of influenza vaccine showed greater seroprotection against the flu than those who received normal doses. "For every antigen studied, the high-dose formulation resulted in an increased average antibody titer and higher seroconversion and seroprotective rates compared with the standard-dose influenza vaccine," according to the study in Annals of Internal Medicine.
