Patients with colorectal cancer who sat for six hours or more per day during leisure time had a 36% greater risk of death compared with those who sat for less than three hours, researchers at the American Cancer Society found. The study, published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, also found that patients who got the most exercise were 28% less likely to die than those who exercised less.
