Nearly all teachers and staff at a Seattle high school are taking a stand against a required standardized test in their district, saying they will not administer the exams they believe are flawed. The Measures of Academic Progress, the teachers say, does not benefit teachers or students and is a waste of instructional time. The teachers also raised concerns about the material covered by the exams and the way they measure students' achievement.
