According to a survey of 401 owners of veterinary clinics by the American Association of Feline Practitioners and Bayer HealthCare, 78% of respondents see an opportunity to improve cat care, and 46% are making changes in their practices to encourage owners to seek more consistent feline care and to reduce the stress of feline patients. The findings suggest room for improvement among many practices, including such amenities as cat-only waiting and exam rooms.
