The holiday price-matching promotion Target launched last year is becoming a regular feature at the retail chain, with Target saying it will match the online prices on "qualifying" products offered by Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and other e-commerce websites. Carla Paschke of Engauge said price matching by itself won't help bricks-and-mortar retailers fight showrooming. "Shoppers are motivated by quality, price and convenience, with convenience playing a critical role," she said.
