Samsung, LG and Toshiba are adding smartphone-like features to their latest TV sets in advance of likely new competition from Apple. The next-generation sets feature onscreen displays similar to those on smartphones and tablets, streamline the ability to switch from streaming content to regular TV shows and offer voice-activated commands, much like Apple's Siri. "One of the key things is really to bring the 'wow' experience back to the TV," said Joe Stinziano, a senior vice president for Samsung.
