The U.S. economy added 155,000 jobs in December, and the unemployment rate held at 7.8%, according to a U.S. government report. Economists had expected a better result. "The underlying economy is not yet strong enough to support aggressive estimates by economists on job growth," said Brian Sozzi, NBG Productions' chief equities analyst.
