Richard Day, an anchor at WTOP-FM in Washington, D.C., for more than a quarter-century, has retired. Day,
a Juilliard-trained Shakespearean actor, started in radio in 1958 and found steady employment in radio and TV since 1965. "In all that time, I was only out of work for two weeks, so it was a pretty good run," he said.
