Creating cross-sectional grafts by making an oblique cut across the long axis of a 3- to 4-centimeter autologous rib piece can lower the risk for distortion in septorhinoplasty, researchers report in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery. No graft warping, infection, fracture or resorption was reported for the 43 patients in the study.
