The NIH's National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke has awarded the Center for Biomedical Imaging Statistics at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health a three-year, $900,000 grant for Parkinson's disease biomarker research using noninvasive imaging. Researchers with the Emory team will aim to create new statistical methods to assess changes in neural activity and abnormalities in structure and function of the brain.
