TV stations are being urged by federal officials to change their default passwords and check other security features on their EAS systems after someone on Monday hacked four TV stations and sent out an alert that implied zombies were on the loose. The Federal Emergency Management Agency's public alert and warning system "was not breached or compromised," nor was its power "to activate" the EAS system affected, a FEMA spokesman said.
