LG Electronics will release its high-end 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro in the U.S. and Japan in the second quarter following its debut this week in the smartphone maker's home market of South Korea, the company said. The Android 4.1.2-powered handset will be first phone to carry Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor and will feature full HD resolution and a slightly more powerful battery than rival Samsung Note 2, although it will not include a stylus.
