A McDonald's in Danvers, Mass., wants to stand out from its fast food neighbors. So, it plans to replace its 20-foot tall pylon sign with something more visible. The restaurant is located in a strip that also holds rivals Wendy's, Burger King and Taco Bell, all with signs similar in size and location to McDonald's. In order to be seen better by drivers on its busy street, the operator wants to replace the pylon sign with a 12-foot monument sign with a digital screen and a brick base.
