Urine samples of 55 premature babies in a neonatal intensive care unit showed that those exposed to four or more medical devices in the previous three days had substantially greater bisphenol A concentrations than babies exposed to three or fewer devices. Breast milk and formula had the same total BPA levels, researchers reported in the journal Pediatrics.
