Officials in Moore County, N.C., are seeking to provide a 21st-century education for students, in part, by investing in one-to-one classroom technology. Already, schools have received deliveries of laptop computers and iPads, all aimed at making students "future ready." Officials say expenses -- $225,000 for one elementary school and $106,000 for Pinckney Academy -- included professional development for teachers.
