Apple's stock with investors may be declining, but consumers are still lapping up new and older iPhone models, according to NPD Group's fourth-quarter analysis. The research firm found the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 ranked first, third and fourth among the top-selling cellphones and accounted for 39% of all U.S. smartphone sales compared to 30% for Samsung Electronics. Apple's iOS software also slightly increased its share of mobile-based Web traffic in the period compared with previous months, according to Net Applications, a multiplatform app company.
