The number of minimally invasive cosmetic procedures performed in the U.S. last year increased 6%, with demand for Botox injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, hair removal and microdermabrasion leading the way, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports. Plastic surgeons also performed more reconstructive operations, with maxillofacial surgery up 7%, hand surgery up 3% and tumor removal up 1% over 2011 figures.
