Adults got an average of 11% of their daily calories from burgers, fries and other fast food in 2010, down from 13% in 2006, and the percentage of the total that came from quickservice meals declines as consumers get older, according to new data from the National Center for Health Statistics. The study also revealed that people who are heavier tend to get more of their total calories from fast-food meals.
