Valero Energy has resumed operations at its ethanol plant in Albion, Neb., citing improved market conditions. The company temporarily shuttered the plant, along with plants in Linden, Ind., and Bloomingburg, Ohio, after last year's massive drought pushed up the price of corn and squeezed margins. "We're hopeful that margins will improve soon at Linden and Bloomingburg," said spokesman Bill Day.
