April 12 is shaping up as a big day for T-Mobile USA, as it becomes the final major carrier to sell the iPhone, while MetroPCS shareholders will vote on their merger with the telecom. Going forward, T-Mobile will charge a $99 upfront fee and $20 a month for two years under its new no-contract policy in which the carrier will no longer subsidize the cost of phones, the company announced Tuesday as part of its "Uncarrier" event. The carrier also introduced its Long-Term Evolution network to its first seven cities.
