The U.S. may have decades' worth of alternative fuel supplies, but getting these fuels to the market is the real challenge that needs to be addressed, experts said during the Green Truck Summit in Indianapolis last week. "There's a good deal of local availability when it comes to such alternative fuels as [compressed natural gas], [liquid natural gas], propane, and electricity -- it's when you look at embedding the infrastructure for them on a national basis that it gets real challenging," said George Survant, Time Warner Cable's senior director of fleet management.
