Global Clean Energy Holdings has acquired Sustainable Oils, a producer of camelina-based biodiesel fuel created in 2007 as a joint venture of Targeted Growth and Green Earth Fuels. GCEH paid Sustainable Oil's owners in stock and a promissory note. Sustainable Oils reported four-year camelina sales of more than $20 million before the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved camelina as a renewable fuel feedstock under the National Renewable Fuel Standard.
