Gevo, a maker of biofuels, announced that its fourth-quarter net loss for the period ending in December 2012 was $13.2 million, as compared with a loss of about $14.2 million a year earlier. The company has trimmed R&D and operational expenses. Gevo plans to resume operations at its isobutanol facility in Luverne, Minn., this year after stopping production there last fall.
