College hopefuls can make the most of their time off during spring break by preparing for their futures, say some college admissions counselors. Some suggest high-school juniors and seniors take advantage of the week by visiting prospective schools -- many of which are likely to be in session since high school and college spring breaks often don't line up. Others advise students to spend the homework-free week applying for scholarships or studying for the SATs.
