Fujitsu Laboratories says it has designed software that works on tablets or smartphones and is capable of examining the hemoglobin in a person's face and measuring the user's pulse. "Even at a busy workplace, or any time a person is sitting in front of a PC, whether for teleconferencing or writing e-mails, their pulse can be measured during brief moments of quiet," a company statement says.
