Mobile devices are increasingly central to their users' lives, becoming the primary way to access the Internet and interact with brands, according to InMobi's Mobile Media Consumption Report. More than half of those with mobile Web access say their mobile device is either their primary or their only means of accessing the Web. "The study reveals that mobile users are always on, whether surfing the mobile Web while spending time with family [48%], at a social event [45%], commuting [60%] or shopping [43%]. This creates a huge opportunity for brands and marketers to engage with consumers throughout the day, unlike traditional advertising like print and TV," said InMobi CEO Naveen Tewari.
