Stevia consumption will more than double between 2011 and 2016, increasing by more than 2 million pounds, predicts a Euromonitor report. "Stevia launches in beverages drove a large percentage of the over 1,000 stevia launches we saw globally in 2012," said Jason Hecker, PureCircle vice president of global marketing and innovation. "We expect this to continue as the world’s largest beverage manufacturers continue to launch with stevia in more markets and across several brands."
