Facebook faces increased competition for the attention of teens, many of whom prefer social applications such as Snapchat and Instagram, a company report says. "In the event that our users increasingly engage with other products and services, we may experience a decline in user engagement and our business could be harmed," the report says. However, the shift may be more about whether Facebook meets their communications needs than whether it's "cool," Laura Portwood-Stacer says.
