The malware used to attack Windows computers in South Korea has code for erasing Linux-based machines, Symantec says. The malware was specifically created to elude antivirus software sold by two South Korean companies, Ahnlab and Hauri, Jeremy Kirk writes. The cyberattacks apparently came from a server in China, where North Korean hackers have previously launched attacks.
