U.S. ethanol production slipped for the second straight week last week, settling at 797,000 barrels per day, down 1% from the week before and the lowest level since Feb. 15, according to the Energy Information Administration. Supplies of the biofuel shrank for the sixth consecutive week, to 18.7 million barrels, the EIA said. For the second straight week, the U.S. did not import any ethanol, the EIA said.
