The NAB Show has attracted more than 92,000 registered attendees this year, with nearly a third of those coming from outside the U.S., according to NAB. Exhibits from 1,600 companies take up 840,000 square feet of space -- 75,000 square feet more than last year. The show, which since 1991 has been held in Las Vegas, is expected to have an economic impact of $122.2 million on the surrounding area, excluding gaming, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. "Vegas always rolls out the red carpet for us. I can't really imagine the NAB Show being anywhere else," said NAB spokesman Dennis Wharton.
