A+E Networks will have access to booking data as it goes into the upfront selling season. The data, aggregated by Standard Media Index, reveal the actual amount agencies spend on television instead of estimates networks usually use. "Actual booking data sourced directly from the agencies gives us a clear picture of true market dynamics and enables us to react faster to changes in the marketplace," said Mel Berning, A+E Networks' ad sales chief.
