Wind power was the top source of new generating capacity in the U.S. last year, accounting for over 40%, but the uncertain policy landscape must be addressed for it to reach its full potential, according to Peter Kelley, vice president of public affairs at the American Wind Energy Association, in an interview. So far, there is "no legislative vehicle in sight for people who need energy legislation, so we are still confronted with this unpredictable business environment," Kelley states.
