Boston's Logan International Airport hosts Wings for Autism, a regular event that lets families with children on the autism spectrum go to the airport and get on an airplane to acquaint them with the facilities and the aircraft. "We know that for some kids it's just not doable," said Brad Martin, the airport's director of customer service. "But some kids are just fine with everything and then the family knows they can do this."
