The Environmental Protection Agency's implementation of a court order to reconsider the 2012 cellulosic biofuel goal under the Renewable Fuel Standard "does not impact the industry's progress in developing technologies" that lessen reliance on imported oil and help clean the air, according to the Biofuel Producers Coordinating Council. "We look forward to working with EPA to establish 2013 targets that are consistent with expected production volumes this year from the facilities that have already been built," the council said.
