Bunge's sugarcane mills in Brazil are "maximizing" ethanol production to take advantage of rising prices of the biofuel, the New York-based company said. On average, Bunge's eight mills in Brazil are steering nearly 65% of their sugarcane to ethanol production, said Chairman and CEO Alberto Weisser. In February, the ratio was 59% for ethanol and 41% for sugar production.
