A Wisconsin elementary school is using e-readers to entice struggling fourth- and fifth-grade readers in an after-school book club to read independently, principal Matt Renwick writes in this commentary. Renwick offers tips for instructing students using e-readers and explains the reasoning for offering students the high-tech tools. "It is not that technology is the end-all, be-all for our students' reading diet. We see it as a segue to a more literacy-centric life," he writes.
