The Commodity Futures Trading Commission should hold off on sanctions against end users of swaps until it finalizes its rules under the Dodd-Frank Act, Commissioner Bart Chilton says. The Financial Services Roundtable and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association sent a letter to the CFTC in late March requesting a delay in new reporting requirements, saying bank clients do not yet have the resources to comply with the rules.
