DCP Midstream has withdrawn its proposal to build a 22-million-gallon propane storage tank in Searsport, Maine, after the town's planning board determined that the project didn't meet certain requirements in the town's ordinances. DCP is "quite disappointed," said company spokeswoman Roz Elliott. "We wish we could have brought construction jobs to Searsport locally. As you know, a lot of people are traveling out of state to feed their families. We just would have liked to have brought them home for 18 months," Elliott said.
