Boeing has finished more than half of the test flights for its 787 Dreamliner, testing a fix for battery issues, and plans to finish the tests within several days. The company insists that the Dreamliner is close to resuming service. "I have a high degree of confidence that the data will tell us -- and the FAA, who are the decision-makers -- that the fix is what we it need to be [able to] get this airplane back in service in due time," CEO and Chairman James McNerney said last week.
